Berlin to host 2015 UEFA Champions League final

Berlin will host the UEFA Champions League final for the first time after the Olympic Stadium was announced as the host of the 2015 final.

It will be the eighth time Germany has hosted the final with Munich, Stuttgart and Gelsenkirchen all having been chosen in the competition s history in both its guises the European Cup and the Champions League.
The 74,000-seater stadium in the German capital is the home of recently promoted Hertha Berlin but has never been used for a major European final, despite hosting the Olympics in 1936 and the World Cup final in 2006.
The National Stadium in Warsaw was announced as the host of the 2015 UEFA Europa League final, the first time that a city in Poland has hosted a major final.
UEFA also confirmed that they will introduce a 10-match ban for …

France ´surprised´ by Griezmann struggles at Euro 2024, admits Rabiot

France midfielder Adrien Rabiot admits everyone connected with the team has been surprised by Antoine Griezmann s struggles at Euro 2024.

France will face Spain in a huge semi-final clash in Munich on Tuesday, as they bid to reach their fourth major tournament final under Didier Deschamps.

However, Les Bleus have been strongly criticised for their failings in front of goal at the tournament, netting just three times from chances worth 8.07 expected goals (xG).

Their three goals have been two own goals and a Kylian Mbappe penalty, and they are the only team in European Championship history to attempt 50 or more non-penalty shots at a single edition without scoring with any (86).

2015/2016 Champions League Group G Betting Tips, Outrights & Odds

Premier League holders Chelsea may not have had the best of starts to the new season, but they remain the odds-on favourites to qualify from the top of Group G, with FC Porto and Dynamo Kiev looking to spoil their plans. And while newcomers Maccabi Tel Aviv will see this campaign as a learning experience, the Primeira Liga runners up and Ukranian champions should be involved in a very interesting battle for the second qualifying berth, that is unless they manage to surprise the Blues and win the first place.

Dutch Eredivisie 2008/09 – Same Procedure As Last Year

Early September, and all the European football leagues have kicked off with a few rounds. People with some insight in the game are already looking for trends to maybe predict the outcome of the season. However, if you ask me, a few rounds in the biggest leagues may give a few indicators for the new season, but a lot of things can happen. A good may give a team a head start that will decide the outcome in the end. The champions in the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and La Primera are not decided in September though, but rather in April at the earliest.

However, in the Dutch Eredivisie – mind you a league that is clearly below the “Big 5” in competitiveness and quality, but still the home of a few very successful teams…

Bears vs Seahawks Week 16 Picks and Predictions: Slogfest in Seattle

Both the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears will be on short weeks when the 4-10 Bears, fresh off a Monday night loss to the Vikings, make the trip to face the 5-9 Seahawks, who head home after dropping a crucial game in L.A. on Tuesday.

Chicago is eliminated from playoff contention and headed toward another offseason of change, while a similar situation appears to be on the horizon for Sunday’s hosts.

Here are our free NFL picks and predictions for Bears vs. Seahawks, with kickoff on December 26.

NFL Best Bets and Player Props for Week 12: Hopkins Keeps Hauling In

The Thanksgiving hangover is done, and it’s time to get serious with Sunday’s NFL player props.

The props are trickling in, but I’ve found a couple I’m more than happy to add to the card for Week 12. I’m hitting the Over on the most efficient quarterback facing the least efficient defense and betting on a high reception total that checks all the boxes.

NFL Week 16 Weather and Odds: Run Game Will be Needed

The last two weeks of the NFL odds have featured some matches with game-altering weather conditions, which should come as no surprise as we enter the deep of winter.

We saw the Falcons and Panthers slog through a 9-7 game in gusts and rain; we saw the Dolphins rely on their ground game due to high winds; and we saw the Bears and Browns rely more on the short to intermediate areas of their passing attack in 20+ MPH winds.

Week 16 odds bring a more timid slate of weather, but there is still much to cover.

Titans vs Saints Prediction, Picks & Odds for This Week’s NFL Preseason Game

The Tennessee Titans seek to cap a perfect NFL preseason when they travel to play the New Orleans Saints this afternoon and our Titans vs. Saints predictions expect them to at least get off to a strong start.

Tennessee hopes Will Levis can take a big step forward in Year 2 as they look to compete for an AFC South title. We break down their chances on Sunday in our NFL picks below.

Titans vs Saints prediction

My best betTitans first quarter -0.5 (+110 at DraftKings)

My analysisWith the Tennessee Titans set to run their starters out for multiple series and reports indicating the New Orleans Saints will hold many of their key starters out, I’m backing the Titans to be ahead when the first quarter comes to a close.

Chelsea v Burnley: match preview

Chelsea will expect to tighten their grip on first place when they host Burnley. Thomas Tuchel’s team are in good form and have been boosted by Christian Pulisic’s return from injury. Mason Mount could also return after wisdom tooth surgery and, although Marcos Alonso has joined Romelu Lukaku, Mateo Kovacic and Timo Werner in the treatment room, Chelsea should have too much for Sean Dyche’s side. Football transfer rumours: Aston Villa steal ahead in Tielemans chase?

Having watched a certain someone lead Manchester City to a league and Cup double, Manchester United are after a Scandinavian forward of their own. Rasmus Højlund may not yet have the credentials of Erling Haaland but, with 16 goals and seven assists for Atalanta this season, the Dane is certainly catching the eye and could join his compatriot Christian Eriksen at Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old won’t come cheap, though, and is expected to fetch at least £40m. Not the best news for Anthony Martial, who could leave United after another injury kept him out of Saturday’s FA Cup final, the third successive final the Frenchman has missed for the Reds.
